Its not often i get behind the scenes images of me working on my little bundles of joy.

I have a stunning studio located in Milnerton with amazing facilities. This is where my baby whispering skills take place. The studio is heated for the comfort of your little bundle...and i have a refreshment area available where you can relax and watch me in action.

Set up for a newborn shoot starts early. Preparation is the key to a smooth session so I usually have a few options ready before the baby arrives and everything within easy reach. The room needs to be really warm so the heat gets turned up and I have two extra space heaters to give an extra boost in the posing areas. A warm baby with a full tummy is what we need to create some baby portrait magic!

The pace of the session is always set by the baby, we take breaks whenever we need to. Trust me sometimes there can be loads of breaks...(poo breaks...feeding breaks and just a little cuddle break too - i cannot resist).

I love working with these little angels...and find I am so in my element when i get to capture their tiny little features.

I spoil mom with professional hair and makeup as part of her booking and she gets to relax while i work on little one.

I do offer home sessions too if you feel you are not yet ready to leave the house with little one...i will come to you and setup a mini studio in your bedroom or lounge. I am used to shooting in all types of setups. There will be a charge for setup/travel for this option. I will even capture little ones nursery and some family pics in your natural environment.

I Just love being to share the behind the scenes on my newborn sessions...so you can see what i do and what i get up to!

I host newborn photography training workshops too where i train novice newborn photographers on how to capture your little bundles safely and guide them on posing...but will share more of that another time.

Samantha Jackson - Hi Adele

I would love to capture your little girl.
I would perhaps recommend a lifestyle session in your home...where we capture her enjoying her daily routine....storytime, breakfast and playing...baking with mom etc...
otherwise an outdoor session if she loves to be outdoors...just let me know if she likes the beach or a forest setting.

I offer 30min or 60min sessions...(30min not ideal for lifestyle home session)
