This was beautiful little Arya's 1st birthday cake smash photo shoot. Ive been photographing this princess since she was a bump, so it’s been lovely to watch her grow up.  Mom is something of a shoot styling ninja, so we had no shortage of props and cool outfits for Tate’s first birthday cake smash shoot.

Studio shoots are in danger of being boring without the right planning and styling.  The more forethought that goes into a portrait shoot, the better in my opinion and I always welcome ideas and input from my clients, after all they are the ones who will be looking at the photos on the wall at home, not me.
